  • Rescheduling: You are entitled to reschedule the lesson at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. Rescheduled lessons must take place before the subsequent session, and if the assigned tutor is not available, alternative tutors will be assigned
  • Cancellation: cancelling a session will result in the forfeiture of the session fee.
  • Payments for the lessons are taken 2 weeks in advance.
  • Billing cycle: weekly

  • Rescheduling: You are entitled to reschedule the lesson at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. Rescheduled lessons must take place before the subsequent session, and if the assigned tutor is not available, alternative tutors will be assigned
  • Cancellation: you may cancel the lesson without any charges as long as you give notice at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. You will receive a full credit to your account. If a refund is preferred, please contact us via email. If you choose to cancel the lesson less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson, you will not receive a credit or refund.
  • Payments for the lessons are taken 1 week in advance.
1. Cancellation of lessons by client/student

KWOKARIO offers a range of carefully designed learning options to cater to your individual needs. Every plan includes the above details:

  • The specific price per lesson
  • Rescheduling entitlements
  • Cancellation policy
  • Payment

    • The tutor may cancel lessons by giving 24 hours prior notice to the. The tutor shall reschedule the appointment at a time agreeable to both parties, failing which the client shall be refunded with such a missed lesson fee.

  • Punctuality is essential for maximising the effectiveness of the tutoring sessions. Fees are calculated according to the time schedule agreed upon by the Tutor and the Student. There is no cost adjustment for time lost due to late arrival of the Student or early termination of the session by the Student. Any time lost due to the late arrival of the Tutor must be compensated for by extending the tutoring by mutual agreement and for the amount of time lost.
  • The Tutor agrees and is willing to wait 15 (fifteen) minutes from the scheduled session time for the Student’s arrival before making a thorough consideration that the session is cancelled without prior notice and is therefore subject to the conditions outlined in the CANCELLATION, REFUND AND RESCHEDULE policy.

  • The Student/Client agrees to:

    • Attend scheduled tutoring sessions punctually and be prepared with any necessary materials.
    • Assist the Tutor in identifying problem areas the Student is experiencing where the Student needs specific guidance.
    • Actively participate in the learning process and acknowledges that assignment, exercises, or homework are an integral part of tutoring and agree to complete the assignments in a timely manner.
    • Treat the Tutor with respect and courtesy at all times. Any form of disrespect, offensive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
    • Uphold academic integrity and honesty during tutoring sessions.
    • Communicate any challenges or concerns regarding the tutoring sessions promptly to the Tutor.
    • Inform the Tutor of any relevant changes in academic requirements or objectives.
  • The Tutor acknowledges that educational tutoring involves personalised instruction and guidance aimed at enhancing the Student’s learning experience and academic performance. However, the Tutor makes no express or implied warranties or representations concerning the results or outcomes of the tutoring services provided under this Agreement. The Tutor does not guarantee any specific results, grades, or improvements in the Student’s academic performance result of the tutoring services provided. The success of the tutoring sessions is dependent on various factors, including the Student’s dedication, effort, and other individual circumstances which are beyond the Tutor’s control. The Tutor expressly disclaims any warranties, whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or any other warranty arising out of the course of dealing or usage of trade.
  • No relaxation, indulgence, waiver, or release by any party of any of the rights in terms of this agreement on one occasion shall prevent the subsequent enforcement of such rights and shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any subsequent breach of any of the terms.
  • This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties regarding the subject matter thereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged expressed or implied provision not contained herein.
